Richmond Bathrooms

I cannot recommend Rufus and his team highly enough. We are still enjoying the beautiful bathroom he installed for us a year ago. From the the get go Rufus displayed amazing customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. He had a totally can do approach about the ideas we had about our bathroom renovation and had plenty of effective ideas for us too. The work is of the highest standard, both tecnically with things like under floor heating and the walk-in shower (everything is still functionally perfectly) and decoratively with the tiling of the floor and walls and any painting; the quoting was always totally transparent and he made an effort to find economical solutions where possible, and the customer service was second to none - he and Rafal (really lovely chap too and very skilled) were totally accommodating and flexible about any changes I requested and ensured everything got done just as we wanted it. And Rufus came by after months to have a look a couple of fittings that had worked themselves loose - great after care. He is a really nice guy, so pleasant to work with. I agree with the previous reviewer that Rufus should go into kitchen design and installation!

Rufus and his team did an exceptional job with the renovation of the entire bathroom. It was a big job, but it was done to a very high standard and Rufus' fitter did a thorough job from the plumbing, over the fitting of the appliances, to the tiling and the finishing touches. The communication throughout the entire project was very good. Each morning we were told what was being done that day, and the fitter regularly checked in with us on the progress. When something unplanned arose, he always had a solution on offer. All in all, we are very happy with our new bathroom and can recommend Rufus and his team to anyone in need of help with a bathroom renovation.

We all know just how difficult it is to get a builder/tradesman for our homes. We went through 5 before we called upon Rufus. We were looking for a set look and thought Rufus had a design head and got what we were after. His suggestions and guidance were great, even saving money where he could on supplies. His builder Konrad was lovely, tidy and polite, which we loved. His work is exceptional and highly detailed. After several months our bathroom is still in tip top condition without any issues. His after completion service is great too. Rufus has a fun, knowledgable and can-do approach. If only he did kitchens too! :-( Highly recommend him.

Richmond Bathrooms handled the complete renovation of our master bedroom ensuite. We had lots of ideas about what we wanted and took a bit of time to work through the options, but Rufus helped us out along the way answering questions and generally being patient. Once we finally nailed down what we wanted, Rufus was really flexible working with what we decided and was happy to try a new waterproof wallpaper. His associate who did most of the work was exceedingly polite and pleasant to be around for the month he was here. When we hit a few snags, communication was great and everything was handled smoothly. We're extremely happy with the finished project and would certainly work with Richmond Bathrooms again.

I got in touch with Rufus about having our bathroom refurbished. He replied quickly and made an appointment to come and scope the job – sounded promising. But when the day came he just didn’t show up. When he finally got back to me several hours later he offered an explanation which I took in good faith. We set a new appointment for five days later. Once again Rufus did not show up. He made no effort to contact me. It’s so disappointing to be treated so poorly by an (apparently) well-regarded local business. It’s fine if you’re too busy to take on more work – but why string someone along if you've got no interest in doing work for them?
