I had a very disappointing experience with Mason Plumbing & Heating Supplies in Richmond. When I called them yesterday to discuss my rights regarding a faulty water pump I purchased in May 2024, they abruptly put the phone down on me. They wrongly insisted that it was the manufacturer’s responsibility to resolve the issue and that I should contact them directly, despite consumer law clearly stating that my contract is with the retailer. Under consumer rights, the retailer—not the manufacturer—is responsible for ensuring that products are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable length of time. Rather than standing by their obligations, Mason Plumbing & Heating attempted to shift responsibility elsewhere. Thankfully, when I reached out to the manufacturer myself, they were far more professional and immediately agreed to send me a replacement pump. A retailer should not dismiss a legitimate customer complaint or refuse to acknowledge consumer rights. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Mason Plumbing & Heating Supplies, as they failed in both customer service and legal responsibility.

Attended this merchants yesterday. The service was beyond excellent had an awkward fitting that was not standard I was taken to the store area where we went through different options and after having spent a considerable amount of time with me found a solution that would fit. I highly recommend visiting this plumbing merchants. Thank you for the brilliant service.

I have used Masons on a number occasions and always found the staff knowledgeable, polite and really helpful. They have solved every plumbing challenge I have gone to them with and as a result I cannot recommend them highly enough.
