City Plumbing

Great service from Paul. Extremely knowledgeable on the products they sell. Helped me find the perfect conversion kit for a difficult plumbing situation. Came to this store by recommendation from a member of staff in screwfix! My now go to plumbing store. Come here, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

We recently visited the City Plumbing showroom in Barking and were welcomed by the manager, Peter. Right from the start, he made us feel comfortable, offering tea, coffee, or water, and took a real interest in our project. Peter was patient, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. He spent plenty of time showing us different displays and discussing our ideas in detail. We’ve been to quite a few places recently Easy Bathrooms, Wickes, and B&Q but none came close to the level of service and attention we received here. Our project doesn’t start until mid-January, but we’ve already decided we’ll be coming back to Peter once it does. We have three bathrooms to do, and the service so far has been outstanding. Highly recommend visiting Peter at City Plumbing Barking you won’t be disappointed. Yusu.

I’ve visited City Plumbing Barking a few times now, and honestly, the service has been quite disappointing. The atmosphere feels cold, like no one is really bothered to help. I’ve been served by Chris on a few occasions, and he’s been great helpful and polite. But the Manager really needs to set a better example. Every time I’ve visited, he just sits at his desk and doesn’t seem interested in assisting customers. Instead of getting up to help, he rings a bell for someone from the warehouse to come out. Unless there’s a genuine reason he can’t move around, this comes across as lazy and unprofessional. The branch really needs to improve its customer service, especially from those who appear too comfortable sitting behind a computer.

All the lazy people working here. They are concentrating their own rather to give the customer service. Very painful to come here but I have no choice as it’s my local branch.

Really pleased with the professional service. Olga spent a great deal of time with us to plan our bathroom refurbishment and explain the different products. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always on hand to answer any questions. It was such a personal service and Olga kept us updated. We now have our dream bathroom. Thanks a lot!
