fast service and really lovely staff - i came in for and got a key however the head was too big (some problem with the way my lock had been installed) but the guy at the till managed to replace it for free with no hassle! really recommend

I ordered a hinge from this store and was promised that I would be contacted and receive it within 2–3 days. However, after a week, I was told I would be contacted in another three days. This delay caused me to break a promise to my client, wasted my time, and I lost the job I had taken. My experience with this service was very disappointing, and I expected a faster and more professional response.

I was very surprised by the customer service this time. I have shopped in this store many times before and never experienced such unnecessary and strange questioning. I simply needed to buy a new door lock because the old one was broken and kept spinning. I brought the old lock with me just as a reference to purchase a new one. That day, a young man was working there. He asked what was wrong with the old lock. I replied that it was broken and that I wanted to buy a new one I brought it only as an example. However, he started turning and testing the old lock, as if trying to fix it, and then asked again what was wrong with it. It felt like I had walked into a police station and was being interrogated. Is “thief” written on my forehead? I did not ask for the lock to be repaired I only wanted to buy a new one. I also had another lock part that I wanted to replace. I asked if they had a new one like it. Again, the same response: “What is wrong with this one?” I honestly don’t understand did I come to buy a door lock, or was I being treated like a suspect? I suggest providing customer service training for young staff members, including how to communicate properly with customers and how to distinguish real issues from unnecessary suspicion.
