Blackheath Locksmiths

Had my flat door replaced by them and they did a fabulous job turning a fire door into an attractive traditional looking front door. No hesitation in recommending the quality and finish of their workmanship as well as their reliability and trustworthiness. And they cleaned up afterwards too!

I needed to update the front door to my flat to comply with the fire regs post Grenfell. I had a few quotes - mostly in excess of £2k just for the door. Richard's quote was considerably less and he offered good advice on the locks to keep the price down. The door was delivered installed and finished within 10 days. The service was excellent and the team are friendly and polite, turn up on time and do a good job for a competitive price. What more could you ask for?

I booked Blackheath Locksmiths after a recommendation from a friend even though my Dad’s property was a good 8 miles away into Bexleyheath. A double patio door would not unlock and I was quoted by Richard in the shop a price which I accepted over the phone. The engineer turned up on time and managed to get the door open and return the lock to working order for a third of the price quoted! That honesty for you. It shows you that you don’t have to be local to Blackheath just trust a recommendation.

I was extremely happy with the service provided by Blackheath Locksmiths. Jon paid us a visit to update the locks on our sash windows and French doors. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and advised us on what would meet certain criteria for home insurance coverage. The work was then carried out swiftly at a more than fair price. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Blackheath Locksmiths after the multipoint lock on my back door failed to disengage. I visited the shop and the locksmith there was incredibly helpful, giving me clear advice on potential repair and replacement costs. He suggested that if I could bring the lock in, he’d take a closer look and give a more accurate estimate. After a bit of a struggle removing the lock from the door, I returned—and true to his word, he got straight to work. He carefully disassembled, diagnosed, cleaned, and most importantly, fixed the lock on the spot. He spent about 30 minutes getting everything working smoothly again and charged a very reasonable fee. I left with a fully functional lock and a big smile. Highly recommended!
