Can't fault this company. Second time I have used them. From first contact to quote to completion of works the customer service is outstanding. All engineers are polite. friendly and helpful but most importantly very knowlegeable and they clean up any mess. I would not use any other electrical company.

Darren came to do three electrical jobs for us. After arranging with Casey in the office who was so lovely and informative. He arrived exactly when he said he would, took his boots off and got to work. He completed the jobs quickly and even took away any packaging or any unwanted material including the old disfunctional light fixtures that he was replacing. He was professional and friendly. I highly recommend O’Briens. Top notch.

My husband and I have just had O’Briens Electrical Ltd undertake a complete rewiring of our property. From first to last, O’Briens did a fantastic job in regard to all aspects of the project. The preparations for the rewiring were excellent. Darren O’Brien came to the property to inspect the existing electrical system. He gave detailed advice and made many positive recommendations about improvements to the system aimed at rationalising it, enhancing its efficiency and cost effectiveness, and improving such things as the lighting and its control. Darren also advised on how best to declutter the house and arrange furniture so as to ensure that the rewiring work would proceed smoothly. This was invaluable. The rewiring work took place over twelve working days with two weekends intervening. The work was done by a three-man team comprising Darren, as leader, and his electricians Blain and Daniel, who carried out the rewiring tasks on a daily basis. Blain and Daniel were friendly and courteous, and unfailingly considerate in minimising the disruption caused by the rewiring for my husband and me and our domestic routines. They also tidied up meticulously at the end of each day, so that the property was kept as normal as possible for our evenings and sleeping time. On account of our following Darren’s advice on readying the property for rewiring, Blain and Daniel were able to keep to the agreed work schedule. The work was duly completed on time, and with the overall costs for the rewiring exactly corresponding to the figures set out in the original contribution. My husband and I are are extremely satisfied with the rewiring and its effects in terms of home improvement. We very much appreciate all that O’Briens did for us, and we would highly recommend the company to anyone in need of electrical work being carried out.

I had an emergency at my property with a water leak coming from the loft. I was living overseas at the time, and while my neighbour caught the leak before too much damage occurred, the electrical system did suffer a complete outage. I contacted Darren O’Brien to arrange for the electrics to be inspected. Darren was very helpful in all aspects of the inspection work: he liaised with my neighbour to gain access to the property, checked out and tested the electrics thoroughly with his assistant Ken, and then emailed to me a fully certified report on the state of the electrics. Fortunately the electrical system did resume functioning as the property dried out. However Darren’s swift and positive response to my request for an inspection gave me reassurance and peace of mind, and the report on the electrics provided me with a vital point of reference for all subsequent repair and restoration work on my property. The service that Darren provided was excellent, and I would unhesitatingly recommend O’Briens Electrical Ltd to anyone requiring electrical work to be undertaken.
