Dan Construction

Dan has been exceptional. We not only used in for a full loft conversion but has also been back to do handyman work for us at our house and other properties. He’s punctual, polite and his skill set is heads above any other builders I’ve worked with over the years. I will definitely be using him again in the future.

I needed advice on the way forward with some work on the loft in a small terraced house. I got in touch with a few contractors. I went with Dan trusting my gut as his honest and direct approach was quite refreshing. I wasn’t disappointed. The advice offered was very thorough and we discussed different options. Dan has a good eye for detail and a very practical effective approach to finding solutions quickly. English is not his first language but his knowledge of the trade is very good, his track record and experience can also be verified. I’ve checked the negative reviews and the validity of them is questionable. We’ve agreed more work. I’ve not been disappointed so far!

Since I bought my old 1920’s house Damien and Dan’s team have renovated it in stages. All work done to a very good standard. The attention to detail and effective communication skills very good. I still have more work to be done on this house by this company. Definitely recommended!

Dan and his team converted our loft in to a wonderful bedroom and en-suite. The whole team are very professional, listen to customers specifications and most importantly communicate really well. Our job was completed to an extremely high standard, and we are super happy with the outcome! Dan is transparent on pricing and willing to advise and work with you on where you can make savings vs. investing so that you don’t have future issues! If you’re looking for an honest, hardworking construction company then look no further DC Dan can build it for you! Thanks for making our project become a reality, and I look forward to the next one :) **Update 2025** Dan and team worked on another project for us this year. He built a rear single storey extension for us which extended our kitchen and created an addition WC and Utility downstairs! As always, Dan worked with professionalism and care. He is a clean builder who takes pride in his work and this really shows in the end product! We are extremely happy and would recommend anyone who is considering embarking on a project to use Dan and his team!

Dan has been wonderful - he’s temporarily patched up our very leaky roof until we can get it replaced properly in the spring/summer, and came back a second time free of charge when it was still leaking (not his fault, our roof is a mess!). He arrives when he says he will too, which is a big plus for anyone in this line of work, as I’m usually left in the lurch by most others.
