Anna is amazing! I’ve been going to her for clothing alterations since I first came to her 4 years ago. She’s really professional and really fast with the work she does. She always has great ideas for how to alter the clothes and executes them in the best and cleanest way possible. I highly recommend her! :) Syed is always really helpful too. He’s very friendly and professional and every time I visit the American Dry Cleaners shop he makes sure that the experience is very pleasant 🙏🏻

After paying for an expensive cleaning service for my Sky Suite and gloves, I was extremely disappointed with both the cleaning quality and customer service. My jacket was returned almost two weeks later, and it was in worse condition than when I handed it over, with large black marks on the sleeves. The only follow-up I received was a call about the trousers’ belt, warning that it might lose colour, without any mention of the damage to my jacket or the risks involved in cleaning it. Overall, this service was completely unacceptable. When I collected my jacket, the lady only told me that something didn’t come out. She did not recommend anything else, which makes your claim untrue. I was in a hurry and didn’t check the jacket properly at the time, but when I got home, I saw that the jacket looked even worse than before. When I was asked to sign the form, I was told it was about the belt/trousers — not the jacket. Therefore, I kindly ask that no further excuses be made to justify the inadequate handling of my item.

I had paid over £100 for this 😳 My beautiful leather coat is ruined. This is just one part of the awful ‘repairs’ by Ana. They didn’t even have the good grace to admit that the work was unacceptable. I asked to be refunded but there was no response. Please do not use this company. The work is dreadful and there is no customer service, whatsoever. I hope they put my money to good use by sending Ana on a basic training course 🫤

I’ve been a customer at American Dry Cleaners Islington branch over 10 years. Prices had gone premium but sadly customers service is extremely poor. Shop manager refused to unlock the door at 6.03 when I arrived even though I called at 5.55 saying I was on my way to collect a set that was rather urgent, but was told he is not allowed anyone in past 6pm sharp, For a mere 3 minutes they decide to compromise a long standing local residence customer. Such customer service and arrogance just does not align with the price tag of cleaning. I am already exploring alternatives . .

Very disappointing experience. I brought in a jacket in perfect condition, and it came back with clear damage including on the main zipper, which definitely wasn’t there before. They only noted “wear and tear” on the pockets (not in my presence) and failed to mention the zipper damage at all. Their own manager confirmed no note was made and that the damage is visible. They also didn’t follow their own procedure of providing a waiver form for sensitive materials, yet still refuse to take any responsibility or even refund the cleaning cost. Unprofessional and unhelpful. I would not trust valuable items with this dry cleaner.
