Ward Carpentry LTD

If I could give 0 stars I would. Harry gladly accepted my partners money (£700!) right before Christmas but the job did not proceed (as advised the same day the deposit was sent) and Harry has given countless excuses as to why it hasn’t been paid. He has given every excuse under the sun, from ‘accounts only work on Fridays’ (he doesn’t have an accounts team, he could just do a bank transfer like anyone else in 2026), to family troubles, to ‘moneys right’. Several times he’s said it would be paid ‘this Friday’. We even offered to accept the money refunded in instalments which he accepted and then not only didn’t pay back but then had the cheek to say actually he doesn’t need installments, he will pay it in full ‘this Friday’ again. Guess what, that was weeks ago. It’s a shame to leave a review like this but he has acted like a cowboy. If this review is still up, he’s still conning my partner. Harry, I’ll remove it if you just pay him back even if it has taken 4 months. Very nice of you to take the money and run 2 weeks before Christmas. Update: today he has threatened my partner that he wants to take legal action against me for leaving this review. Apparently because I’m ’not his customer’, despite the fact that I have lived with my partner for 10 years. We had offered again for him to refund only a portion of the fee and he is just offering more delays.

Worked with Harry on a number of projects, his level of attention is second to non and he genially cares about the work he produces.

I have worked with Harry on a number of projects over the last couple of years. He is an experienced and accomplished craftsman with a diverse back catalogue. The first person I turn to for carpentry and joinery advice.

Harry has built beautiful wardrobes and cranky flooring for us in Clapham. We were delighted with the results. He then designed amazing media wall for us in our new house and suggested many good alternatives. Always available, responsive and with detailed craftsmanship. He is great and I would highly recommend him.

Any chance of a design credit for my work shown on your website Harry? I wouldn't mention it, but you still owe me the £180 for the friendly design service I gave you for your Digital Dock project in Brentford two years ago, now you are passing off my design work for older projects as your own as well.
