Tector ltd

We have employed Brian Whittaker of Tector Ltd on two occasions and have been very satisfied with the quality of his work. The first job, a partial refurbishment of our bathroom (replacing the shower cubicle including retiling the walls to match the rest of the room, preparing the floor prior to receiving a new covering, and replacing the double glazed window panels), turned out to be a much bigger challenge than we initially thought, when Brian discovered rotten joists under the shower. Brian came up with a good solution which we hope will endure beyond our time! The existing underfloor heating was replaced, the floor thoroughly sealed and new vinyl laid. The job took longer than planned, but Brian kept us fully informed at every stage (we were away on holiday at the time) and we are very happy with the outcome. The second job involved removing crumbling bricks at the top of three raised beds in the garden, replacing those as necessary and applying coping stones to all three walls. The end result is great! Brian takes pride in his work, but is also very good company when onsite. We thoroughly recommend him.

I have used this company on several occasions and have always been happy with the quality of the work and materials. They are very professional in their approach but also very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Brian has been my carpenter for the last 7 years and carried out work on my previous two houses. In the first he did a full kitchen and bathroom refurbishment and it was done to a very high standard and in the second he installed bespoke cabinetry in my alcoves as well as oak floor throughout. The floor needed to be levelled first so Brian removed the original boards and levelled the joists before the new oak could go down. We were both very happy with both his standard of work and his attention to detail

Had these lads over for a small kitchen install as part of an office move. Little bit trickier than the average, with the water inlet needing to be extended to the new kitchen location, as well as a connection via up-pump unit to the waste outlet. All completed expertly and a day earlier than stated and nothing was too much trouble. Diligent, on time and on (a very fair) budget. Couldn't have asked for nicer company while we were finishing up the rest of the space, either. Would/will always recommend.

Brian recently carried out a range of works to my London flat including upgrading an en-suite shower room, some re-tiling of a number of window sills and some carpentry works. He is a skilled workman and is industrious and reliable. I highly recommend him.
