Pavitt carpentry & joinery

Unrivalled quality, absolute perfectionist! Chris has helped me over the years with two different office builds, a new staircase, some custom built wardrobes and a bonsai table. He works incredibly hard, is completely trustworthy (we leave him in the house) and his work is always to the highest standards. I can't recommend him highly enough (although you may have to put up with his singing!).

Chris did an amazing job on my media wall from start to finish. Really tidy work, great attention to detail, and everything was finished exactly how I wanted it. He turned up when he said he would, kept me updated throughout, and left the place spotless after. Couldn’t be happier with the end result — it’s completely transformed the room. I’d 100% recommend Chris to anyone thinking about getting a media wall done.

Chris has just finished removing and installing new skirting boards and architrave as well as designing panelling throughout our landing, bedrooms and staircase. Always on time, incredibly trust worthy and work has been done to the highest standard we will be looking to use Chris many more times as we continue to refurbish our house. Would recommend to all!

Chris recently fitted our kitchen. It was designed by a specialist. Chris came up with some brilliant ideas which the specialist hadn’t thought of, so every space was 100% utilised. His carpentry work was excellent. Chris is totally trustworthy, we even gave him a front door key to use. We have recommended Chris to our friends who also got him to do their kitchen as well as their bedroom. They too are very pleased.

Chris fitted our Benchmarx kitchen several years ago. It was fitted to the absolute highest standard; he is a complete perfectionist. He built extra cupboards to integrate the microwave and the workmanship quality is sublime. Since then, we’ve had a new dishwasher, washing machine, dented doors, a lot of general wear-and-tear. Each time, Chris has come back to do the work and refit the parts needed. Having children, it is important to have people you trust in your home and I feel completely safe with Chris around. He is trustworthy, friendly as well as professional and kind. He has gone on to board our loft, design and fit skirting, hang all internal doors…pretty much anything we’ve needed and is within his skill set, he’s done. No hesitation in recommending him if you need someone with an excellent skill set, high standards, attention to detail and that you can trust to work in your home.
