McMullen Interiors

John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.

We are DELIGHTED with our new tv shelving and wardrobe, and plan to do more work with John soon! Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship, clever problem solving, and flawless painting. Plus, John is the nicest guy and a pleasure to have around the house. And we’re so happy with how customizable everything is, from the shelving to the hanging racks. Highly recommended.

We engaged John to build bookcases and wardrobes in our new home. We are so happy with them! They are gorgeous and elevate the place. They look even better in real life than in pictures. I described my vision to John and he executed it perfectly. He was very efficient, friendly and thorough. He was also very helpful in assisting us with adapting everything to our space - for example making space for sockets. We would not hesitate to engage him again and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for fitted furniture!

Can't recommend highly enough - we absolutely love our new wardrobes. Beautiful quality, impeccable finish, excellent service. John was so helpful (and patient!) during the design process, gave excellent advice and was happy to make lots of adjustments/amendments to the final design. Fitted very quickly and efficiently, and left the room tidier than they found it! Will use again for our next project and recommend to anyone looking for bespoke carpentry.

Fantastic experience. The wardrobes are exactly what we wanted. Lights and pull-down rail make them super functional. And the whole experience was amazing: John is incredibly professional, able to advise what would work best (eg how size of wardrobe doors will impact functionality of the rest of the room) and went above and beyond (including throughly vacuuming half of my house after installation!). I will be coming back with future projects for sure. It is well worth a wait.
