We used Marc to fit our howdens kitchen. Despite there being a few challenges with Howden's themselves, Marc was honestly very good. He fitted the kitchen with ease. He was professional and suggested a couple of things which we hadn't thought about (strip lighting in the larder), which added some extra class to the look we wanted. There was another occasion which Marc had to come back to complete the job as our job fell into a block where he was going on holiday but that was understandable and we didn't mind since he came back just before xmas to complete a small remaining job. When we had the issue with Howden's he liaised with them directly and requested the right parts. All in all we are pleased with Marc and would recommend him.

We had the pleasure of using Marc's services to rennovate our kitchen and create a media wall in the dining area. Marc did an amazing job for us and created a space we can truly admire. Thank you Marc, you are amazing!!

I was extremely disappointed with the Kitchen that Marc attempted to fit for us and I would not recommend letting Marc near your kitchen. I was hoping to move into our refurbished home before Christmas but this is now unlikely to happen, thanks in no small part to Marc. Please do not be fooled by his other positive reviews or positive demeanour. He claims that the photos are not from his work but I can assure you that they are. I will caveat my comments by saying up front that Howdens did mess up our order and some parts were missing but these issues were exacerbated by mistakes that Marc made. Here is a summary of just some of the issues: - Used wrong handleless brass profile on tower units meaning we were short of three lengths for finishing worktop and tower units. He claimed it was done correctly despite the item description clearly stating “Worktop Profile”. - Cut a long decor end panel meant for a tower unit and used elsewhere meaning we had to purchase another and were unable to finish the job in time. - Did not fit microwave and oven. - Did not mount extractor , meaning we had to delay worktop templating. - Did not cut out space for hob in carcass. - Did not use sufficient clips for handleless brass profile in tower units. Did not install clips for worktop handleless brass profile despite being asked to. - Cut into the wrong carcass unit but thankfully this mistake would be hidden behind some panelling. - Many carcasses have visible drill holes where mistakes had been made and needed re-drilling. - Every single drawer was fit incorrectly such that the soft closing mechanism did not work once the drawer above had even the slightest load. - Every single drawer was assembled with just two screws in the base despite the instructions suggesting six should be used along with a supporting bracket for the pan drawers, which he also failed to install. - Installed the wrong drawer panel in microwave/oven unit, did not take measurements before starting, meaning we had to purchase a replacement. - Did not fix the larder unit to the wall making it a potential hazard. - The corner unit was not closed off with a panel. - Some door panels were not level with other door panels e.g. see photo of larder unit. - Did not take an inventory before starting and only let me know about missing pieces half way through and again on the last day of the job. This was despite emailing before he started the job and specifically asking for the inventory to be double checked so any missing items could be ordered in advance. - He was absent on Tuesday for a Hospital appointment , which he failed to mention before starting the job. Nate was also absent on this day. - Marc worked a total of two full days and two half days despite saying the job would take five days / one week. - Despite the issues with the Howdens order, at no point was Marc waiting for items and always had other work to complete. There is no way he would have completed the job even had all items been present on day one. - He was rushing on his final day to finish resulting in multiple mistakes and shoddy finish in comparison to prior days; had he shown up for even four full days he would have finished with time to spare. - Marc was complaining on his last day that he cannot stay past 5.30pm despite not finishing the job and he wanted to charge £300+VAT to come back another day. The day after he left I noticed two cracked tiles where I believe he dropped the washing machine as he was rushing to finish on the last day; he claimed it must be shoddy workmanship from the tiler not using enough adhesive but after removing the tiles it was clear there was full coverage. I may have given him the benefit of the doubt had he not also scratched another one of our tiles on the first day of the job. To top everything off after he left I was made aware that I had paid visitor parking for a van with no tax and no MOT; it turns out Marc’s van had neither at the time I hired him.

My wife and I recently had a full replacement of our kitchen in Battersea undertaken by Limeoak, who were absolutely faultless. As a Chartered Building Surveyor I have seen my fair share of contractors with Marc and his team some of the very best. Communication was very clear and Marc is very pragmatic problem solver, which was vital as he ended up replacing half of the floor joists due to issues only apparent after the kitchen had been removed. I would not hesitate to use Marc in the future, he and his team were a joy to work with.

We hired Marc to undertake a major renovation of the kitchen and lounge to create a large kitchen diner. We hired Marc as the first question he asked was "why now?". The kitchen is now the one I have dreamt of for a long time and despite inevitable problems along the way (an old house) we achieved the end result by discussing each and every point. The tradesmen used to complete the plumbing, electrics, plastering etc were experts in their fields and all jobs were timed to be finished to ensure the next trade could start. As always there is a snagging list but we did not have to chase Marc once to complete the job. Marc is a perfectionist and expertly skilled. Thankyou for making the kitchen a joy to be in.
