J M Shrimplin Carpenter & Joiner

Mark came to install a fire door at the entrance of my flat. Like a true carpenter, instead of bringing a fully premade unit, he bought the fire-rated base and carefully did all the work himself, drilling and fitting the letterbox and locks. His price was also very competitive and represented good value for the quality of work. Communication throughout was clear and straightforward, which made the whole process easy. A special mention as well to how tidy he was: he left the site just as clean as he found it, something I rarely experience with tradespeople nowadays. Overall, highly professional and reliable.

We found Mark online whilst looking for a carpenter to install bespoke shelving in our Victorian house near Victoria Park. From the start, we were impressed by his knowledge, commitment to the project and how pleasant he was to deal with on a daily basis. We are thrilled with the results as it is the best bespoke carpentry we ever had built in in our home. We are looking forward to working with him on future projects. Guillaume

We found Mark through a Google search, and his was part of a number of quotes we went through. Mark was the only one who was willing to finish some of our flooring, create a new border around our fireplace and build and install shelves and cabinets in our alcoves. Due to the versatility of his services, we decided to go with him. From the off, he was very quick to respond, came to visit, measure and provided a quote within days of the original contact. He was warm, polite and respectful, and it was clear he knew his trade, so we responded immediately after the quote, requesting his services. He was able to start very quickly. Turned up on time each day, was clean and polite throughout, and actually just a joy to have around. The finished product is just amazing and we couldn't be happier. For the price, and even ignoring the price, you won't find many carpenters better. We highly recommend Mark and will be hitting him up in the near future for some other projects

A big thank you to Mark for a working on a number of Sash Windows and replacement sash, Mark is meticulous, competent and I felt reassured with his quality of work.
