Heron Carpentry Ltd

Gerry did a great job stripping out our old bathroom and installing the new one. We are very happy with the result, and have been using our new bathroom without any issues. The project started and finished exactly on time, and there were no surprises or hidden costs. The entire process was completely hassle-free, and I highly recommend Heron Carpentry to anyone.

We are still discovering issues with the fitting of our kitchen and utility, months after Heron (Heroes?) Carpentry left. Poor cuts/drilling, alignment issues, corner posts incorrectly fitted with units overlapping, holes drilled in the wrong place on our new fridge door, doors put on the wrong way around, poorly fitted sinks with packers left on show, damaged units and panels. See photographs. I could go on and have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to correct some of the above. Many of these issues were discussed with Gerry at the time and he did cover the cost of replacing three doors that were put on the wrong way. We didn’t ask Heron Carpentry back to complete the remaining work Gerry had quoted for. I don’t like posting negative reviews but we have been so disappointed with the quality of workmanship and relied on the 5 star Which? reviews when choosing Heron Carpentry.

We’ve just had some bespoke wardrobes built and fitted by Gerry and the team into a really tricky space in our new loft room. Gerry offered lots of ideas on how best to make the space work and has constructed a set of drawers wardrobes that have far surpassed our expectations. He was very careful to work around the other builders and decorators on site and has done and exceptional job. The finish of the wardrobes is beautiful - couldn’t have asked for more. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. .

Really impressed! Gerry has carried out several projects for us including bespoke Carpentry and also helped us correct worked carried out by others that we weren't happy with. Gerry is a perfectionist who is always on time, clears up after jobs and is super professional! We would highly recommend 👌

Gerry has been a pleasure to work with, came highly recommended from other trades who had worked with him on other jobs and were impressed by his work. I am delighted he was able to come in to fit my kitchen, and did so to a high standard in the time frame. Thanks very much Gerry.
