A&J Joinery

A&J were recommended to us by friends who were very pleased with the work they had done for them. They have just replaced all six sash windows (including the sash boxes) in the ground and first floor bay windows of our house, and installed a new balcony door and frame. Our work was done impeccably. The workmen were hard working and thoughtful, and the whole job was completed in a week, including painting. (I would recommend using the painters offered by A&J, who paint window-by-window as each is installed so that the job is over in the minimum time.) Although all the woodwork was replaced, including deep Victorian architraves etc, it looks exactly as it did before except freshly painted. And now the windows slide beautifully smoothly, and cut out the road noise and draughts We highly recommend them.

I have been amazed. I didn't realise what a big job getting one's windows replaced was. A&J joinery took great care to protect our new carpet, and put dust sheets everywhere. The decorative trim we had around our old windows was recreated, care was taken with all additional finishing woodwork, and the type of window furniture I wanted was ordered in. The new windows are beautiful, and they glide open and closed with ease. Our home is warmer and quieter. My expectations have been exceeded. The quality of the workmanship and then time taken to make and fit these windows makes the big investment of replacing our windows represent excellent value for money on every level. A big thank you to A&J Joinery.

Julia and her husband an all at A&J Joinery have been the most fantastic business to deal with. The workmen who fitted the windows were extremely tidy and polite and I will certainly use them again, they have been fantastic all round. Thank you!

Extremely rude refusal to help us with a "small job". "Small jobs" leads to big jobs. Unacceptable behaviour I do not recommend.👎👎👎 I drove all the way to visit the workshop, wasted my time.

Always a pleasure to work with A&J Joinery team! Work is effective and delightful.Would highly recommend them 100%
