Screwfix - Greenwich

I needed to borrow an Allen key to tighten a bolt on my wobbly bike seat before cycling home. My first port of call was the nearby gatehouse, but the staff couldn't help me. Luckily, Ahmed and Preston were absolute champions and let me use one free of charge, sending me away smiling with their good-natured and humorous character. I'm pleased to see the new Screwfix is ready to serve the community any way it can. I also had a good experience buying lightbulbs at the Tulse Hill branch recently. Good vibes all round from this new sub-brand!

We went on the day the new Screwfix opened - the assistant was really helpful and talked us through the available options. The shop front is small but clean and tidy, and you can order in advance using the app. Overall worth considering if you need hardware supplies as the price is pretty reasonable.

Amazing service by Preston & Arti in the Greenwich store. I went to collect an order that had been placed by my clients I’m currently working for in the area. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and Arti asked how my day was going. She quickly took my order number, and Preston brought it out very promptly, which I really appreciated. After handing over my order, Preston took the time to tell me about an offer they had on DeWalt batteries. I was interested because my batteries often go missing where I am working, but I didn’t have my card with me. They suggested ordering through the app and kindly talked me through setting it up, including how the rewards system works—which definitely caught my attention. As I was in a rush, I mentioned that my Google Pay wasn’t working when tapping, and they suggested resetting it and helped troubleshoot, going above and beyond what I expected. The patience and friendliness shown by both of them was excellent. As someone who doesn't usually use Screwfix, this experience in this store has definitely encouraged me to return. Great customer service all around!

Very very busy
