N1 Building Contractors Ltd.

Floor and stair runner not done to the best quality. When sanding and varnishing the kitchen surface, they didn't use enough varnish, so the counter top has got water damaged again over time and will need to be re-done. The fireplace surround and units were done well. But overall very expensive for what was provided, anything not specifically mentioned in the quote was charged at a ridiculously high fee. That piece of wood being cut to fit a step cost £125 in the picture. The builders would just put in things without asking first on design, had to get them to remove some items because they didn't check first. The builders would take the excess materials you've purchased without asking and then leave all the stuff they don't want. Like the excess varnish could've come in handy. It did seem every bit of recommendation they gave was not necessarily based on what would look best, but more of whats easiest for them to fit and finish the job quickly. On top of that the guy managing the bookings over the phone was incredibly rude and very argumentative. Not what you want for something dealing with customers. Having done another bit of work on my flat with other builders, I can see how badly I was ripped off on this job in terms of the additional charges, so be careful when confirming quotes.

We were looking for a good company to supply and fit our new kitchen, and we came across N1 Building Contractors. I thought they were builders, but it turned out they are also specialist kitchen fitters as well. They were able to provide everything I wanted in the way of cabinets, flooring, and some fabulous granite worktops. They look fantastic. My two sisters and their partners came over for dinner and they couldn’t stop talking about how amazing they looked.

I got interior work including painting undertaken at my flat. The staff were extremely professional, polite and dedicated. They were also able to support on small small maintenance tasks related to plumbing and fixtures. I value them going out of the way to support the renovation work.

Quick efficient service, after ordering managed to get the carpet delivered and fitted the next day.

Excellent and reliable work. Will definitely be using again. Can’t recommend this team enough.
