I engaged with KPD Construction LTD to perform a ground floor extension and remodelling on a 3 story end of terrace house in Islington. So a full extension and adding a bathroom and utility room on the ground floor plus interior decoration and redoing the back yard / courtyard. Pawel (the owner) gave me a comprehensive quote and schedule of work. He was very clear about any uncertainties and detailed of the things that might go wrong once they uncovered foundations or began work. Giving me a clear cost range that I could budget against. His team is very professional and hard working. They were there from 8AM every day, six days a week. Pawel communicates with you daily and gives full updates every week on progress and issues. I was always consulted on any decisions and given a clear cost benefit analysis of those decisions. As the work progressed we collaborated on spreadsheets in order to make all the decoration and fitting decisions relatively straightforward. Overall the work took around 5 months total. Which was slightly longer than the initial 4 month project estimates but we also had to do some extra work around damp proofing and the full courtyard out back was also an additional part that I requested. So overall really close to the initial estimates. The overall cost was very accurate to the estimate and working with Pawl on this project was very collaborative. He held my hand through the whole thing which was a big relief for me because this was the first time I'd done such major renovations on a house. The quality of the work was to a very high standard. I was on site (living upstairs) for the whole build and observed the attention to detail his team gave to the build. There was no such thing as a botched piece of work or corner cut. This is a team of professionals working to a very high standard. It's a family business as well so you get three generations of Desecki family giving their expertise. So in conclusion. Thank you Pawel and the whole team. We love our new ground floor.

Pawel and his team recently completed a full interior renovation of our home, including floor levelling and full decoration. Overall we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The team were always friendly, professional, and dependable throughout the project. The initial quote was detailed, providing clarity from the start, and the communication throughout was always excellent. The work was completed on schedule and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend KPD for any home renovation project!

We did a full house renovation with Pawel and could not be more happy with the result. KPD were recommended by a colleague and Pawel was very helpful from the start. He provided an accurate quote and timelines, and was very patient and professional throughout (we had zero prior renovation experience). Pawel was really organised, which in order helped to push us and allowed the renovation to progress in line with the planned timelines (without him it would have probably taken us a year). Roof top extension and house renovation in E1W The roof top extension, which was the main part of the work,was done under the deadline that was initially discussed despite much covid disruption. The work was well planned and executed by a professional team, clean tidy and well organised. I was kept informed of the difficulties and discussed multiple unforeseen but necessary change of plan with KPD. The discussion was always constructive and open, I appreciate the advises received.

I was impressed with Pawel from KPD at our first meeting when he gave me the confidence that he would be proactive, helpful and extremely professional. The KPD quotation was really detailed and comprehensive which proved so useful as the project progressed. Regular reports of expenditure incurred were presented in spreadsheet form so that payments were fully justified and it was easy to keep tabs on cash flow. Any items that had cost implications were discussed in advance. The work was completed to the highest standard and to schedule and I have no hesitation in recommending Pawel and KPD.
