A big thanks to the whole Chelsea Contractors team (especially Nasser and Rami) who delivered a major project for us at our mid-terrace Victorian period property in Hackney between May 2023-March 2024. This included a full gut and renovation of the existing property, as well as additions including a ground floor side extension and loft extension. A few things to highlight: - The keys to a good relationship and successful outcome with any contractor are trust, care, respect, and good communication. These were the foundation of our relationship with Chelsea Contractors. Nasser and Rami are fundamentally good people who want to do the right thing for those they are work with and for. - Both my wife and I work in real estate (she’s an architect and I’m a commercial developer). Within the single-family residential construction market, non-expert home owners are at-risk of being taken advantage of by residential contractors who know much more about the technical elements of construction and the risks involved in these types of projects. Nasser and the Chelsea team were not phased by having clients who had high expectations and knew what they were doing. They welcomed this as an opportunity to do something great and learn together. This speaks to their honesty, capability, and willingness to do the right thing for their clients (experts and non-experts alike). - Our project included unique elements associated with our overarching sustainability focus. It included significant insulation improvements throughout the property, a timber-only structural strategy (including a new 7 meter long glulam beam installation), reusing existing materials (floorboards, bricks, etc), low VOC finishes, an air-source heat pump, and a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system. This speaks to their desire to take on new challenges, learn, and work through unanticipated issues that invariably arise when you are doing something new or less common. - In a construction project, there will always be unexpected challenges. What matters is how people act in these situations. The Chelsea Contractors team acted quickly, honestly, and with a solutions-oriented approach to help overcome these situations and deliver for us as clients. We strongly recommend Chelsea Contractors. The relationship between a contractor and client goes both ways, and we are grateful for the relationship we have with Nasser, Rami, and their team. Nasser, Rami & Ali and the rest of their Team were absolutely amazing to work with on our huge office / studio renovation. Communication: Their communication was great throughout and they were always quick to respond via WhatsApp. Unlike other builders, they are really easy to get a hold of when you have a question or need something small to fix. Prices: Very competitive and gave us a GREAT deal for the work we needed. Work done: Outstanding. I have dealt with a lot of builders over the years. They are the FASTEST (they finished a week early) and the quality of their work done far exceeded our expectations. Not sure what the above 1 star reviews are on about because these guys are THE BEST and I cannot recommended them highly enough. 10 / 10.

They completely refurbished my bathroom, work was completed as i wanted and as quoted. Highly recommended.

We had structural and decoration work done by Chelsea contractors (partition walls, plastering, new bathroom, plumbing etc). They came within time and budget. Very good experience overall. Nasser is a super responsive project manager who stayed on top of the work, explained each stage of the process to me, responded to concerns and questions within minutes every step of the way. He liaised with the structural engineering team and with building control. Plastering work was top notch and we also had built in cupboards throughout the house of excellent quality. Also I changed my mind a few times over different elements, Nasser was dealing with it without any problem and it still came within the quote. There are always unexpected issues in building work and Nasser and his team were on top of it quickly and efficiently with very professional communication with us.

I am very grateful and appreciative with the quality and speed at which Chelsea Contractors (Nasser and co.) were able to, from start to finish, completely transform our family home in Surrey, on time and under budget! Nasser went above and beyond to realise our specification, and would not hesitate to get in touch with future projects.
