Arben Building Contractors

Ben, Chris, Leo and colleagues are among the best building professionals I have used. I first met them several years ago when they did some exterior and interior work on a property for me. I was struck by their dedication - working through torrential rain at the time. Last year, I invited them to quote for refurbishing a total of 4 rooms over 2 floors. They provided a detailed, competitive and realistic quote that stood out from a range of others. Communication has been a breeze and they are among the most responsive tradespersons I've dealt with. The refurbishment work (walls, wall-mounted radiators, ceilings, lights, sockets & skirtings) was all completed to an excellent quality and in good time. Their attention to detail was exceptional and everything was carefully kept to budget. Everyone from ABC who entered our house was respectful, polite and considerate of other occupants, ensuring that all materials and debris were cleared and the rooms left spotless once finished. These guys are excellent problem-solvers & worked so flexibly around the schedules of other tradespersons (eg. floorers & carpentry). When I messed up once by ordering the wrong paint code, they saved the day, going out of their way to fix the situation and ensure we were very happy with the final result. I highly recommend their services for building work and refurbishment and would happily use their services again.

ABC were recommended to me by a joiner that I have used in the past and what a recommendation they were. I had delays with my property completion by about 2 months and ABC were very understanding. They were able to start the work with only a week’s notice. They completed a range of tasks from a new kitchen, new bathroom, new pipe connections, joinery work and internal decorations. They completed the whole project in 6 weeks, sometimes working 7 days a week to get the job done. Chris was excellent and very hands on to make sure everything was moving forward to plan. ABC runs a thoroughly professional team and the work they have carried out for me is a very high standard. This made the whole process stress free. I would highly recommend ABC and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Ben and Chris have now completed two mid-size projects for us and I can not recommend them highly enough. From beginning to end we felt our house was in safe, reliable hands - so much so that we entrusted them to complete our second project (cellar and side return) whilst we were in Australia! The project management was meticulous and the building works were finished to an exceptionally high standard. Most impressive of all was the fact that they completed on time and remained on budget ! Detailed references available on request. Many thanks guys - we are very happy customers.

We are based in South Africa and found the Ultimate Dream Team based in London, Arben Building Contractors run by Ben and Chris. We had the pleasure of doing a renovation with them which involved of a lot of scope, changes and extras. The team went far and beyond and the extra mile every time we asked anything. We cant thank you enough. Nothing we asked was a problem and everything was done to high standards. We hope to have more projects with the team in future. Reliable, Trustworthy, Professional, Great Communication and updates, my list could go on. You wont go wrong choosing them as your contractor. Thank you for all you guys do and continue doing for us.

I would advise and recommend any family with young kids, hectic lives to get ABC to do all of your building work. No job is too small or actually too big. They really understand how to provide amazing work and every member of staff ( from their painters/ fitters/ tilers/ builders/ the head of operations, project manager) are professional, polite, respectful and caring. I’ve been alone in the house with four of their male staff and always felt respected and safe. They’ve also always been kind and great with all of my children even when one was really unwell and the building work was delayed. One senior member of staff travelled across London to fix my washing machine door because the engineer couldn’t do it. I’m a mum with 3 young children juggling and needed it fixed. I would recommend ABC to anyone for their work and their professionalism. They renovated and recreated our entire house and it’s a brilliant home. I’m thankful they were recommended to us in the first place so passing it on!
