Village Heating Limited

Praise goes to Kam at Village Heating Limited due to his support today in following through with contact regarding my hot water cylinder as this has been an ongoing sutuation in which i have needed to call regularly to find out an update. Kam called me as he said he would, to update me about all the details with clarity and understanding. He was very polite and helpful, thus, this warranted praise for him to his Manager, whereby I informed her he is an asset to the company. I am very grateful to him and want to say thankyou.

I called the Emergency Out-of-Hours line on behalf of my dad and spoke with a lovely lady Kelly, who was an absolute credit to the service. She was professional, understanding, and kept me informed about the engineer’s visit throughout the evening — I believe the engineer’s name was Fardie. It’s not often you come across such helpful and reassuring support, especially in the evening. Really impressed with the service from start to finish.

Customer service agent over the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I was telling her that our boiler service is due which needs to do in every 6 months and 6 months have already passed. The notification is showing on the screen but she keeps saying that the service is not due but we didn't clock back the timer in the last service(which was 6 months ago) that's why showing as due! What a competent customer service agent with the knowledge of heating and boilers! Why are you sitting in the office for the phone calls? VHL engineers are very polite and knowledgeable. We never had any issues with them.

Had our annual gas safety check done by VHL today. As the man walked he asked for the meter & boiler location. As I showed him into the meter room his phone went off and he started talking. After a minute he came out and went outside. Came back after 5 minutes still talking on the phone and started performing the gas safety check while discussing the best free place to park a car for as cheaply as possible. After another 5 minutes he finished talking and finished the safety check 5 minutes later. It never fills me with confidence when anyone providing a paid service isn't focusing solely on their customers job - what a lack of professionalism AND by a gas engineer!!

I have booked a job related to splitting the Electricity supply. A date is fixed, and I received a confirmation email with the date and Time. The engineer was 8 minutes late, but I got a text with his ETA. Engineer Nathan arrived and did an excellent Job. Finished on Time around 4:30 pm, removed all the rubbish, and he even wore a Shoe cover inside the premises, which shows they are professionals at work. I am happy with VHL services!
