SF Appliance Repairs

Great Guy! Phil was very knowledgeable, honest, cost effective, quick and prompt. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation.

Highly recommend Phil, he has been really helpful in fixing our oven for us. He's been knowledgeable and given us honest advice and on top of that he's really reasonably priced too. Thanks again.

I snapped the middle hinge bar of my ancient Hotpoint upright fridge freezer. So I knew what I needed. It was me being stupid. The old frost free wonder still cranks, so I wanted to fix it. Now the first big repair company I called, wanted £90 for a call out and absolutely wouldn't discuss parts on the phone. They just wanted to send an engineer without the part. Phil, however, is the diametrically opposite attitude. He is an expert and has decades of knowledge of your old appliance. He calls back rapidly if you have to leave a message, too. (You don't pick up when in mid appliance-wrangle, after all.) Anyway, after a minor struggle with finding the part for my "museum piece" as he called it, he popped round and fixed it in 20 minutes from arrival. The coolest thing was that he spotted the top bar had washers on it, as at some point in the past, the hinge had bent and the door needed lifting a fraction!! It was like the clock guy on The Repair Shop on TV, explaining that he could tell that there had been previous work repairing clocks he was fixing. An absolute top chap to deal with and righteous! The parts problem, he apologised for, although it wasn't his doing and offered to fit it for free, "for the inconvenience". I did insist on paying. A thousand percent recommended. You will not do better, anywhere.

Completely agree with Lauren's review. Quick response and was able to come on the same day. Phil was on time and has done a great job. Would definetly recommend.

Highly recommend. Always nervous using google reviews rather than personal recommendations but the reviews were true! Phil came out same day, did a really good job not just fixing the dryer but cleaning out the filters and leaving my dryer looking better than it has in a long time. He is an incredibly nice guy too! Would absolutely use again
